Hold your TapID card near any modern smartphone. The phone reads the embedded NFC chip and launches your digital profile in the browser. There's nothing to type, scan or sign in to. If the other phone doesn't support NFC, your QR code works as an instant fallback.

No. Metal shields NFC signals, so the Platinum metal card reads from one side only. Hold that side to the phone to share. The coin and sticker included in the set tap from either side, and the wood, carbon fiber and PVC cards are not affected in the same way. Good to know before you order.

No app is required for the people you share your TapID with. They simply tap or scan and your profile opens. As a TapID owner, you manage your profile and leads from any browser, mobile or desktop.

Yes. You can update your details (name, role, links, photo, services and call-to-action) at any time. Your physical card stays the same; your profile always reflects the latest version of you.

Every TapID has a built-in QR fallback. Just open your profile and let them scan the QR code with their camera. They can also save your TapID URL as a regular link or you can share it via WhatsApp, email or SMS.

TapID Platinum (LKR 19,888) includes the Metal NFC Card, 30mm coin sticker and 6mm sticker; the full premium set. Gold (LKR 14,888) includes a Bamboo or Carbon Fiber card with a 30mm coin. Silver (LKR 7,888) is a clean PVC card in white or black. Starter (LKR 1,888) is the 30mm NFC coin sticker only; a perfect entry point.

We offer four plans: Free (basic profile), Essential (launch price LKR 1,888/mo), Pro (LKR 2,788/mo) and Pro+ (LKR 3,288/mo). Every paid plan billed monthly starts with a 30-day free trial. Prefer annual billing? Pair an annual plan with a device order and get 10–20% off the device instead; the bundle discount replaces the free trial. Yearly billing also saves 20% on the plan itself.

Yes. Every TapID card (Platinum metal, Gold wood and Silver PVC) is produced with your own logo and details on it. After you order, we prepare the design and send you an artwork proof to approve before production, free of charge. The Starter 30mm coin sticker ships in the standard TapID design.

TapID cards are custom-made, engraved or printed with your own logo, name and details, and manufactured to your specific order after you approve the artwork proof. For this reason, purchases are not returnable and cannot be exchanged once production is approved. If your device arrives damaged or defective, contact [email protected] promptly and we will review it in line with our Terms of Service and applicable law.

Absolutely. TapID supports conferences, expos, BNI-style meetings and corporate events, with QR check-in, attendee networking, sponsor visibility, post-event engagement and analytics. Pro+ unlocks Event Mode.
